Inaugurated in July 2013, the Fendi flagship is located on 51, Avenue Montaigne, the chicest shopping street in Paris. Boasting a new and airy redesign, the two-level boutique fans out over 650 square meters, luxuriously decorated with the finest materials - bronze, stone, velvet and leather – blended to create glossy/matte and smooth/rough effects. Slabs of Roman travertine marble coat the walls, juxtaposed to enhance the art sculpture by Tony Cragg. Innovative French designer Maria Pergay, instead, customized a string of one-off pieces including a screen, precious boiserie and a coffee table in the shoe room. Further elevating the designer selection are pieces by Gio’ Ponti, Gabriella Crespi and Hervé Van Der Straeten.
The ground floor houses the mesmerizing Baguette Wall, an installation sprouting 30,000 shiny bronze rods that ensconce the must-have bags, followed by the Made-To-Order salon, where Fendi master artisans personalize both the Peekaboo and the Selleria line. On the first floor is the Haute Fourrure salon where clients can indulge with unique and personalized styles. Neighbors of the Fendi boutique, which carries the full range women’s rtw and accessories collections, include Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.
